I've seen things that I never thought I'd see in my lifetime. I've seen desperate cases, how people are forced to live their lives due to poverty. Everything seems to stem from poverty here,' says Beverley Knight. The UK R&B singer has recently returned from spending a week in Brazil learning about the work of Christian Aid funded organisations, and it has left a lasting impression on her.

A few tracks from Beverley Knight will be appearing on the soundtrack of 'Mon Idole', a new movie by Guillaume Canet. This is due for release in early December 2002. The album will also feature a french funk/pop singer called Sinclair who can be heard singing with Miss Knight @ www.productionsdutresor.com (Listen out for the short background music during the flash animation, this is sampled from the soundtrack!)
