:: 17.02.02 : Dotmusic Review on Beverley Knight's new single 'Shoulda Woulda Coulda'
This is the first of many reviews on Bev's new single, taken from the Dotmusic website. On the site it also states that the single 'Shoulda Woulda Coulda' is released tomorrow!! (18th February 2002) James Poletti reviewed the track and this is what he thought,

'Bit of a strange one from the Bevsta this one. Basically, it sounds like one of those songs that the talented likes of Beverley Knight sometimes write for the somewhat less talented likes of S Club 7 when they need to fund their next criminally neglected soul opus - with the S Club element still very much intact.
What this probably means is that it stands a fighting chance of being better received than her last fantastic single, 'Get Up!', and thus, hopefully, highlighting this consistent talent to all those ears that are just bursting to figure out what it is they've been missing.
The purists amongst you can take solace in the fact that D'Angelo and Erykah Badu collaborator and fully paid-up Soulquarian, James Poyser, turns in a 'Philly mix' with just the lazy blunted roll and soporific jazziness you'd expect.'
