Beverley Knight has just performed 'Shoulda Woulda Coulda' live at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Manchester. She wore a loose red top, short cropped black trousers and silver boots. She looked great as usual, even though she was soaking wet, due to the rain! The event also featured some performances from Ms Dynamite, Will Young and Toploader.

The Mercury Music Prize is to be broadcast live on digital channel BBC4. The winner of the £20,000 prize will be announced on September 17th. Mercury Music Prize Live will also feature coverage of the nominee's performances, which include David Bowie, The Streets & My Dynanite.

It hasn't been confirmed what that track will be just yet, but the current competition comes from Mad'House, Beth Orton and U2.
