30.05.02 : 'Main Vein' Will Be Jamiroquai's Next Single
The track which features Beverley Knight's vocals 'Main Vein'
will be Jamiroquai's next single, follow up to 'Love Foolosophy'.
US producers Deep Swing (who have previously worked with Artful
Dodger) have remixed the track, which is due for release on the
24th June through Sony S2 Records. The song is taken from Jamiroquai's
latest album 'A Funk Odyssey'. For more info on Jamiroquai check

:: 28.05.02 : Final Show Tonight!
Beverley Knight will play the last show on her current 'Who I
Am' UK Tour tonight at the Regent in Ipswich. But Bev won't be
resting after the gig, as her schedule is filled with promotion
for her new single 'Gold', due for release on the 17th June. BK
will also be playing at all the major music festivals this summer
too. There's no stopping this girl!

Beverley Knight is well on her way to achieving platinum sales
for her album 'Who I Am', which has seen a sudden rise from #56
to this week's #46!

This week Beverley Knight will be performing 'Gold' live on GMTV,
which takes place every weekday morning from 6am-9pm on ITV (UK).

After last night's show, I was lucky enough to meet Beverley Knight

21.05.02 : Shephards Bush Empire Gig
Last night, Beverley Knight thrilled fans with a spectacular sell
out show at London's Shepards Bush Empire! But before the crowd
'got ready' for the UK's favourite RnB/Soul Diva, the fans were
treated to a fantastic set by upcoming UK soul singer Shaun Escoffery.
He performed all of his hits including 'Space Rider' and 'Days
Like This', which is due to for release on the 24th June. Shortly
after, the fans were treated to some more music, this time mixed
by DJ Pogo. The lights then went low, and the crowd started cheering
and screaming! 'ARE YOU READY FOR ME!' Bev screamed back @ us!
Then the show kicked off in full spin. The tracklist is below

18.05.02 : The Jools Holland Show
Last night Beverley Knight was finally back on our screens again,
on BBC2's 'The Jools Holland Show'. Bev kicked off the show with
the hit single 'Get Up', followed by the Philly Mix of 'Shoulda
Woulda Coulda'. Later in the programme Bev joined Jools Holland
on the piano to sing a rendition of a song she used to hear her
mother sing, called 'His Eyes On The Sparrow', then ended the
final show in it's series with a fantastic version of 'Same (As
I Ever Was)'. For those who missed the set, don't fear, as the
repeat will be shown in the early hours of Monday morning @ 12am
on BBC2. If you can't catch that, David Rowe should have the performances
up and running on his site soon @ www.beverleyknight.no-ip.com.

On Sunday, Beverley Knight performed at Beckingham Palace for
David & Victoria Beckham's World Cup Garden Party. Bev performed
an EXCLUSIVE set there on the day, which will be screened on ITV1
(UK) @ 9pm Sunday 19th May. Full photos (including below) can
be found in this weeks issue of OK magazine, and all proceeds
of the event have gone to the NSPCC.

Glasgow for her gig tonight at The Arches!

After nine weeks in the Official UK Album Charts, 'Who I Am' drops
down 10 places to #52. Sales are very likely to rise again with
the release of 'Gold' on the 17th June.

06.05.02 : UK Chart Update
'Shoulda Woulda Coulda' has now fallen out of the Top 75 UK Singles
Chart, however 'Who I Am' is still in the UK Album Charts after
8 weeks, this week she drops down four places to #42.

04.05.02 : Irish Music Festival Adds More Big Names To Line-Up
The Hives, Dandy Warhols, Idlewild and Beverley Knight have been
added to the Witnness Festival bill. Kosheen, the Soulwax DJs,
Hoobastank and Rival Schools have also been confirmed for the
event. The festival takes place at Ireland's Fairyhouse racecourse
on July 13 and 14. The Hives and Dandy Warhols will both play
on Sunday, July 14. The line-up already includes Oasis, the Chemical
Brothers, the Foo Fighters, Green Day, No Doubt, Badly Drawn Boy
and Groove Armada, www.hotpress.com
reports. The Hives, who are currently touring the UK, release
their new single Main Offender on May 6.

04.05.02 : Summer Of XS Line Up Announced
Beverley Knight, Blue and the Lighthouse Family will be headlining
this year's Summer Of XS event, that's set to take place at Milton
Keynes' National Bowl on June 16th 2002. This gig is just one
of several Summer Of XS events that are due to take place in Nottingham,
Reading and Bournemouth. Not only will fans be able to catch their
favourite bands performing onstage, they'll also be able to see
what's going on backstage, via a pair of huge video screens. More
acts are due to be announced over the next couple of weeks.

03.05.02 : Live Gig @ Posh & Becks Pad
According to the Daily Mirror, Beverley Knight will be singing
a live set at David & Victoria Beckham's World Cup house party
on the 12th May. Russell Watson will also be performing live,
when the guests (including Sir Elton John, Spice Girls, Ronan
Keating) arrive at 2pm for a reception due to be held at the Beckham's
£2 million mansion in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. The
event will be filmed for ITV for an hour -long special to be screened
on the 16th May, and photographed by 'Hello' and 'OK' magazine.
All the proceeds from this event will be donated to the children's
charity NSPCC.
